This alloy has the following characteristics:
The weld metal after ERNiCrMo-3 (625 wire) welding has higher strength and resistance to local corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion in a wide temperature range.
Metallographic structure of ERNiCrMo-3:
Face-centered cubic lattice structure. After holding at about 650 กใ C for a sufficient time, the carbon particles and unstable quaternary phase are precipitated and transformed into a stable Ni3 (Nb, Ti) orthorhombic lattice phase. After solution strengthening, the molybdenum and niobium in the nickel-chromium matrix will improve the mechanical properties of the material, but the plasticity will be reduced.

ERNiCrMo-3 has a wide range of applications:
1. ERNiCrMo-3 is mainly used for melting electrode gas shielded welding or tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding INCONEL 625 alloy, INCOLOY 825 \ 25-6MO alloy and other stainless steel containing molybdenum
It can also be used for surfacing welding of steel. It can also be used to weld nickel steel and various corrosion resistant alloys such as 20 alloy. Use ERNiCrMo-3 wire for submerged arc welding can be used to weld INCONEL 625 alloy or nickel steel, or surface surfacing of steel. When submerged arc welding should be used INCOFLUX 7 submerged arc flux
